About Happie
Discover the best jokes, desi memes and the funniest jokes in nearly every Indian language. Get access to jokes shared by joke lovers from around the world.
Happie is a jokes app for Android, published by JetSynthesys Pvt. Ltd. of Pune, Maharashtra. You log in with Facebook or with a username and an email address, choose the languages you read, and get a feed of jokes posted by other users. The jokes themselves come from the community: anyone with an account can publish one, and everyone else decides how funny it was.
Happie is meant for readers aged 13 and over.

Post your own jokes
The plus button in the app header is where a joke starts. Send it as text or as a picture, tagged with the language you wrote it in, and it reaches everyone who reads that language.
Upvote, downvote, comment
Every post carries its score in the open: upvotes, downvotes and comments under each joke, so the good ones climb and the rest sink.
Jokes in Your Language
A joke translated is a joke half lost, so Happie keeps them in the language they were told in. Tick the ones you understand and the feed is rebuilt around them:
- English
- Hindi
- Hinglish
- Marathi
- Gujarati
- Bengali
- Haryanvi
- Bhojpuri
Every joke shows the language it was posted in, right under the author's name.
Posting on Happie
What you post stays yours — Happie only takes the licence it needs to show your joke inside the app. In return, a few things never belong here:
- Material that infringes somebody else's copyright or trademark.
- Anything libellous, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harassing or hateful.
- Content that is racially or ethnically objectionable, or that promotes bigotry or harm against a group or a person.
- Fake identities and impersonation of another person.
- Spam, bulk mail and messages that fish for passwords or account details.
Posts that break these rules are removed, and accounts that keep breaking them are closed. Copyright complaints go to copyright@gethappie.in.
